How to do it

  1. Get Patois from TestFlight, open it once and pick Apple Music.
  2. Long-press the Deezer link and choose Share › Patois.
  3. Apple Music opens on the same song.

This only works by sharing on iPhone and iPad. Patois doesn't read Deezer links in Safari, on Mac or in Chrome.

How it finds the right song

Deezer publishes the recording code and album barcode for its music, so Patois often starts with an exact code. Without one, it compares title, artist and length. When nothing is close enough, Apple Music opens on a search for the song.

Does it work on Mac?

Not for Deezer links. On Mac, Patois reads Spotify and Apple links only.

Do I need a Apple Music subscription?

Not for Patois. It only opens the link. What you can play after that depends on your own Apple Music plan.

Does it work with Deezer playlists?

No. A playlist only exists inside one service, so there's nothing on the other side for Patois to open. Songs, albums and artists all work.
