patois
How to do it
- Get Patois from TestFlight, open it once and pick Spotify.
- Long-press the Deezer link and choose Share › Patois.
- Spotify opens on the same song.
Where this works
Only by sharing on iPhone and iPad. The Safari extension and the Chrome extension don't read Deezer pages, so tapping a Deezer link in a browser won't trigger Patois, and it won't work on a computer.
Deezer's short links work as well as full ones. A link.deezer.com address is followed to the song it leads to first.
What opens
| The link is for | What you get |
|---|---|
| Songs | The same song in Spotify, or a search if Patois isn't sure |
| Albums | The same album in Spotify, or a search if Patois isn't sure |
| Artists | The same artist in Spotify, or a search if Patois isn't sure |
| Podcasts | Opens in Spotify, at the exact episode when Patois can find it, or at the show |
| Playlists | Don't open. A playlist only exists inside one service |
