It's a search, not a direct link
SoundCloud's lookup is part of a paid plan, so Patois can't ask for the exact track. It opens SoundCloud's own search with the details already filled in.
Podcasts don't open in SoundCloud yet, so a podcast link stays where it is.
On iPhone and iPad
- Get Patois from TestFlight, open it once and pick SoundCloud.
- In Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions, turn on Patois and allow the websites it asks for.
- Tap a Spotify or Apple Music link. Safari passes it to Patois, and it opens in SoundCloud.
If a link opens in another app, or you'd rather not use Safari, long-press it and choose Share › Patois.
On a computer
- Chrome: add Patois from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to the toolbar. Click its icon, pick SoundCloud, then click Spotify or Apple Music links as usual.
- Mac: get Patois from TestFlight and open it once. In Safari › Settings › Extensions, turn on Patois and allow the websites it asks for.
